Dr. Gaston Woodland Jr., Ed.D., serves as the Director of the Woodland Education Center, assuming responsibility for all facets of its operations encompassing educational programs, administrative requirements, and activities. Gaston holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology obtained from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and a Master's degree in Curriculum Instruction conferred by Concordia University-Portland. Additionally, Dr. Woodland earned a Masters degree in Urban Education from Park University.  He has held the esteemed position of a certified teacher for the past eight years. Dr. Woodland possesses a teaching certification valid for grades 4 through 9 in both Missouri and Texas. Moreover, Dr. Woodland has earned certification in Special Education EC-12. Notably, Dr. Woodland is an accomplished children's book author who has also published his own research. Dr. Woodland has dedicated over a decade to serving in the field of youth services. Dr. Woodland successfully completed his doctoral studies in Leadership, Innovation, and Change at Concordia University Wisconsin, attaining the Doctorate degree.
